Position: Program Manager-Group Respite Program
Nature of the Work:
Under the supervision of the Executive Director and the Elder Network Board, the Program Manager is responsible for the implementation of Elder Network Group Respite Program in Olmsted/Dodge Counties including: Group Respite Program, both Paid and Volunteer Group Facilitators, and educational programs for caregivers. Takes client referrals and screens, conducts intakes and matches clients to Groups. Recruits, trains and supervises Paid staff and Volunteer Group Facilitators. Actively networks in the community to promote Elder Network in Olmsted/Dodge Counties. The Program Manager will work directly with clients, volunteers, the Executive Director, Program Director, public health nurses, other healthcare professionals, social services, and the general public.
Minimum Qualifications of Education and Experience:
- Prefer degree in public health, nursing, social work, other human services area, or equivalent experience
- Prefer experience working with older adults, especially those with dementia
- Prefer experience working in BIPOC and/or rural communities
- Valid driver’s license and able to travel throughout Olmsted and Dodge Counties
Pay: $18.00-$18.50/hr.
